Coach screws, also known as lag bolts or lag screws, are screws with a Hexagonal or Square Head
and a Coarse Thread. The coarse thread of a coach screw provides a strong grip, and the large head
distributes the force of the screw over a wider area. The square or hexagonal head also allows for
greater torque to be applied during installation, which helps ensure a tight fit.
Coach Screws are often used in conjunction with washers to create a more secure connection, and
can be installed using a socket wrench or adjustable wrench. They are commonly used for heavy-duty
applications where a strong, secure connection is required, such as in construction and heavy
machinery.
High strength
LFS Coach screws are designed to provide a strong, secure connection between two materials. The coarse threading and large head of the screw help to distribute the load evenly, reducing the risk of the connection failures.
Ease of installation
LFS Coach screws are easy to install with a socket wrench or
adjustable wrench. The large head of the screw allows for greater torque to be
applied during installation, ensuring a tight fit.
Versatility
LFS Coach screws can be used in a wide range of applications, from
heavy-duty construction to furniture assembly.
Corrosion resistance
LFS coach screws are coated with a zinc or other
corrosion-resistant finish, making them ideal for outdoor or marine applications where
exposure to moisture is a concern.
Cost-effective
LFS Coach screws are an affordable and cost-effective option for
heavy-duty construction and other applications that require a strong, secure
connection.
